These amazing 7th Grade artists created one of a kind animal cylinder projects. Each student was tasked with developing a design based on an animal. Student had to create the cylinder using the slab technique and then problem solved to design their lid and details to communicate their idea. Great job students!

One of the hardest parts for me was when I was drawing my animal on the clay because my hands are shaky.

One of the hardest things for me when creating my pottery was rolling small coils because they would become dry quicker and they would crumble.

The hardest part was attaching the wall because it kept on breaking.

I enjoyed getting ideas for the animal and culture but I would say that the hardest part for me was actually cutting out the clay since I had a bunch of tiny stuff that I needed to cut out.
