I can't believe the fourth quarter is here and we have some new projects started.Paper sculpture is a fun way to start off the nine week class. It is unique and students just have a blast. The 6th and 8th grade students learned about repetition and movement in relation to shape, space, and line. Here are the project pages:
Youth Art MonthIt has been a while since my last art post. The art room is still buzzing! March is Youth Art Month Artwork can be found in the community at several participating stores and the library. We also have artwork in the DMS library. The students have been working hard on their final projects which include: watercolor designs, op art, bead design, finger knitting, hidden color wheel, and American Gothic. Enjoy the photos below!
