7th Grade Still-Life DrawingsSeventh grade students are finishing up their Still-Life artwork. I am so proud of their hard work! They created a small drawing first, wrote a goal on drawing and shading skills, and then began their large drawing. So many skills are involved in this project but the most important is focusing their attention. You could hear a pin drop in my classes while students are finished. I think they are proud of what they have accomplished!
Drawing in the Art RoomStudents are working hard to complete their drawings before glazing.
Holiday Art ShowAll students have finished their first drawing assignment as well as their pottery. They are patiently waiting for me to fire them so they can be glazed! In the mean time, the designs below will be showcased at our Holiday Art Show in the FAC at the High School Today. You will also find winning art work from the first quarter art show and teacher selection pieces. I hope to see you all at the Holiday Show! Printmaking and Painting in ArtHoly buckets, it is already December! The 6th students were making a mess in the art room earlier this week. I love the patterns they created. These will be a background for their zentangle animals. The 8th grade students are working a watercolor painting. This particular project expects attention to color theory. I can't wait to see how their final paintings turn out!
