What's Next?Eighth graders have been working on a hidden color wheel project. One color wheel was painted into their radial design and then all other spaces were randomly painted to disguise the color wheel.
Can you find the color wheels? Within the project, students wrote a goal on one of the following skills: color mixing, appearance, or watercolor technique. They then determined the best way to meet the goal. As students painted, they problem solved and worked out the best plan to finish their painting. Students then reflected and submitted their finished painting on Canvas. They answered questions that revolved around decision making and problem solving choices. As always, students moved straight into the next part of the project, brainstorming patterns. They will be required to develop 16 complex patterns. |
