Drawing in the Art Room6th Grade Student in this class are are creating complex patterns to show variety in different spaces inside their animal outline. 7th Grade: Seventh graders are working on developing different cross-hatching values. This skill takes lots of patience and diligence. We practice looking at the work from a distance to see if values are correct. 8th Grade
Students in eight grade finished painting their color wheel art work and are now creating complex patterns to create symmetry and movement within their art work. Each student is working on developing contrast between patterns through pattern variety. Quarter 1: 7th Grade Finished PotterySeventh grade students were challenged with two objectives: a. Create a cylinder and lid with a handle. b. Communicate a clay animal on the cylinder pot or lid with cultural or habitat details.
Can you visualize the animal each student was trying to communicate?
