We are having a blast in the art room!
The 6th grade students are working on their pinch pots. The expectation is to create a well built wall with smooth texture. Students must use critical thinking when deciding if their pottery is balanced sufficiently or or when fixing the form is appropriate. This seems like a simple task but become difficult when time is involved. How much time do we have left to fix it?
| Seventh grade students are on their way to creating animal pots. Here you can see them making the pinch pots which become the body and head of their animal. We have a long way to go but it looks like a good start! |
Slab Mugs are keeping the eighth graders busy at this time. The walls are being formed and designs will soon be a reality! I am so excited to see what my students develop over the next few days!
