7th Graders are finalizing their animal projects today and tomorrow. These photos were taken last week. Can you tell what animal the student is trying to communicate?
Pottery Process and TransformationStudents in all grades are working with clay to build on their problem solving skills and develop self-efficacy to gain confidence. 8th Grade: The focus for eighth graders is a clay mug design. Each student developed a plan, practiced on clay pendants, reflected and re-evaluated their plan, and began their five day project. Throughout this time, students must determine which technique to use when creating, how to work through clay issues, construct and attach correctly, and think about their theme. While developing their project, students must also alter their design based on their time management. Can you determine what theme students are representing on their clay mugs?
