- Let's learn the basic history of sailing ships!
- Go to your art drive folder to find the 6th Grade Ship document.
- Begin the adventure!

4. Create your ship - two 9x12 white papers

- 1st paper: draw the base of the boat (including head and tail). It must touch the edges of the paper.
- 2nd paper: Draw the details of your boat (mast, sails, decorative details, oars)
- Color:
- Draw everything with pencil first. Draw lightly!!!
- Use colored pencil to create your horizontal wood lines (planks of the boat) and outline the decorative head, tail, or moldings on both papers.
- Paint each of your drawn pieces.
- Oil Pastel or sharpie: add any extra detailing with oil pastel or sharpie for added creativity.
5. Watercolor
Optional Boarder: Create a boarder with tape around the sky. You will develop a boarder that represent the origin of the ship at the end.
