Harvest Still Life Drawing
Objective: Students will improve on their short-term goal as well as create 2 final still life drawings.
Step 1: Learning about the skills:

Step 2: Practice Arranging and looking for the best view:
1. Levels- 3 different heights
2. overlapping items
Step 3: Practice drawing and Determine the goal:
1. Create a first drawing.
2. Study your drawing and determine which skill you should work on the most. That skill becomes your goal. 3. Practice, practice, practice.
- You will need to create at least 2 practice drawings before creating a final. (This skill requires lots of practice, evaluating, and forces students to focus their energy on the items they are drawing.)
Step 4: Create a Final drawing. - picture 1, picture 2, picture 3
1. Select a white paper for your final drawing.
2. Place your last practice drawing next to your white paper. Be sure to look at the practice to determine which parts you want to change and others that you want to draw the same.
Step 5: Draw a ground line.
1. Find the object in the background.
2. Using a ruler (or eye ball with hand), draw the straightest line behind the objects.
