A. Line Drawing
1. Guide Dots: lay shoe down on side and make dots at important places – only allowed 10 dots
2. Begin to create your outside shape using the dots as guides. If it looks wrong, don’t use the dot. It is only a guide. video
3. Draw the inside parts: Students should use a beginning point, a middle, and an end point to help create the spaces. Start with the sole of the shoe. Don’t forget the fabric parts (especially around the shoe lace holes). - video
4. Details: stitching, lettering, designs, etc.- Mesh - video
5. Focus: Use darker lines to give your drawing some personality. (Only on the parts that you think are most important.) video

7. Trace you line drawing. Be careful to draw lightly. Most mistakes happen while tracing due to drawing fast. Take your time!

Color Wheel: Blending practice - Create when finished
-smooth shaded areas (no uneven areas - all lines close together) -sharp pencil (I can tell how thick the lines are.) -shade with your elbow not your wrist (straight lines, not curved) -stay inside the space (neatness) -blend evenly (orange -r+y, violet -b+r, green -b+y) |
