Students had a great time with this wonderful project. The greatest accomplishment as a art teacher is finding a project that all students can be successful at. This is the one! See the project tutorials.
- Overview: Students create a landscape which includes at least two trees (1 large, 1 small), a watercolor sky, and a figure.
- Students obviously enjoy creating the sky the most but are surprised when they finish off the items with black marker. Stunning!
The fifth graders have been working non stop on this perspective project. While using my website tutorials, students were able to work independently on this tricky project.
Overview:
- Students studied figures and created gesture drawings of classmates in different poses.
- Students learned about perspective views and then began the tutorials on my website. (If you ask the students which part was the hardest, they will tell you......the box.)
