Paper Sculpture - 1 page
Could you make a sculpture out of just 1 piece of paper?
Students were introduced to some main points about sculpture: SCALE, SHAPE/SPACE, BALANCE, LINE & TEXTURE. We explored sculptures online, and many students were surprised to see the variety of sculpture that exists in the world.
Students were guided to explore how to create a 3D piece out of a flat piece of paper. How do you begin? We folded, bent, twisted, cut, rolled, crumbled and created slits to fit pieces together.
